When i continued riding in monday, i felt very ill. I had propably eaten Something Bad, but i had to Go, since i had already Set my Date of Crossing the Border to greece.
I Set Off and headed to the Border. The trail was almost exclusively paved Road (and i had to Go on a ferry, which was cool!) So i was at the Border quickly. Crossing the Border was very easy and sooner than later i was in greece!
I headed onto the trail directly behind the Border and followed it for about 30 kilometers. it curved Up into the Mountains and away from civilization.
When i was up there, i Made a hard decision: i was still Feeling very sick and adding to that my carb had Started to leak Gas! So i decided, i had to Take a longer Break in Order to Sort Things Out and feel better. This however meant, that i had to cut Corners on my riding, since i wanted to be at my Destination at a fixed Date.
I went down from the Mountains and to Igoumenitsa, where i stopped at an awesome Campsite called “Camping elena’s beach”. There i Set Up Camp and paused for the next four days.
While i was there, i quickly felt better and Started doing some repairs on my Bike. Each day i went to the tet and Rode almost a hundred Kilometers. I also fixed the leakage on my carb and went to Ioannina to get new tyres (thanks to my friend Iordanis for organizing) and Put those on.
I also went swimming in the sea right next to the Campsite and met some awesome people that were very helpful. Since my bicycle Pump didn’t Work anymore, one of the guys (He had a huge homebuilt Offroad truck with a Air compressor) helped me Put some pressure in the tyres.
