When I woke up in the morning iI expected it to Rrain, but it didn’t; so I packed my stuff.
The plan for today was riding a little bit on the TET and then exploring the caves at postojna.
As I was looking in the weatherforecast however, iI noticed, that there would propably not be a lot of riding that day. Heavy rain and even more annoying, heavy wind was what i was going to get.
Still i decided to give it a try, since it was still dry so i could at least get some supplies from town.
I went and filled up my water reserves, bought an air pump (thank god i did not need one yet) and filled up my gas tank. As I was finished it started raining but in the east it looked promising, so I still went on.
About 10 Kilometers later it started raining heavily. Once or twice I was almost pushed off the road by the heavy wind (my rear tire slipped once but I managed to not crash!) so I decided to do the thing that was less likely to get me killed and stop at a gas station in Vipava.
I waited at the gas station for about 5 hours. The owner was nice and Said i could stay for as Long as i want to.
When the rain had stopped I continued and went on to some awesome mountain roads. Once the Files of my navigation were a bit odd and the trail almost lead me onto a Neck breaking hiking trail. I did Not want to find Out if it was possible to ride there and by simply following the Road along it i soon found Back on Track.
Soon the trail went offroad again and I went up a big mountain. I stopped at a church at one of the view points.
It was definitely the best view i ever had!

After about half an hour I continued riding and at this point the track became really interesting!
I Rode in a narrow path with loose rocks, a steep cliff on one side, a rock wall on the other.
Soon I started descending. The rain earlier that day had made everything wet and slippery.
At one Point I remember stopping to deal with a small tree hanging onto the trail. When I wanted to continue riding i let go of the clutch, but nothing happened. “Alright there goes my Clutch” i thought, but when i looked below my motorcycle i saw the rear wheel spinning at idle, the frame sitting flush with the ground!
It took quite some work to get out of the mess, that the trail had become, but about half an hour later I was standing 500 meters further on a paved road, admiring the traces that the first proper mud passage had left behind.

I was happy my rain gear had protected my white riding gear, but as I was exhausted, i only went on for about 20 Kilometers before leaving the TET and looking for a campsite at which to stay.
